There is a big debate in the photography community about which platform is best to post processing on, Mac or Windows. I am firmly in the Mac camp, have been for about 10 years now. Night Sky Workshop - March

I am planning at Night Sky Photography Workshop for Friday, March 22rd. We’ll get started at 730p with some classroom discussion and be ready to start shooting around 830 when astro-twilight begins. This workshop will be geared towards photographers who have at least a basic knowledge level. You don’t have to be an expert but should be familiar with how your camera works.

Practice, Practice, Practice

I am frequently asked for tips by both photographers just starting out and experienced ones who want to try the night sky thing. I usually point them to some YouTube tutorials, recommend some gear and a couple spots to try. The one tip I really WANT to give them but I know they don’t want to hear is that the best way to get images like the ones I regularly share is to practice, practice, practice.
