The second image in a series I shot this on Father's Day 2023 from Titusville, FL as these storms moved across Merritt Island and the Kennedy Space Center. Shortly after photographing a 630pm SpaceX launch from the Merritt Island National Wildlife Refuge a series of storms began to roll through the Space Coast and after grabbing some dinner from the Moon Light Drive-In we headed back to the hotel.
 
Once the rain stopped I took advantage of the great view of the Indian River from the Marriott Courtyard and set my camera up to capture about 20 minutes of lightning shots. I took the 200 images I got and found 25 that had really nice bolts and used them to create this composite. 
 
This image has so many amazing layers, from the cars on the bridge to the 3 seprate storm cells that are throwing out lightning. This was my first experience with Florida thunderstorms.
