A tree washes up on the beach, is half buried in the sand and becomes a kind of shrine. Some people place a shell on it as the pass and some people set their camera up behind it and capture the galaxy. I noted the tree earlier in the day as we enjoyed a few hours in the beach time and wondered if there was a shot there. The Outer Banks of North Carolina is my favorite place to shoot nightscapes, I think this shows why.
