Newest Adobe Lightroom update adds landscape masking and changes the way we can target areas of nightscape images for post processing. I've played with this for a few days and I had to record a short tutorial to make sure everyone was aware of the new tool.
Lightroom seems to the go to editing platform that most people are comfortable with. It's easy, slider based adjustments are easy to understand and don't require much advanced knowledge. Adobe seems to be working hard to enhance their software so that photographers that don't want to use Photoshop and get some pretty remarkable results.
